Preparing your Manuscript
We need an electronic copy of the manuscript (in MS Word file), which should include all elements of the book including a table of contents and footnotes (not endnotes or any other referencing methods). Be sure that each page is numbered consecutively throughout the manuscript. Authors will need to reformat the book according to our publishing style and comply with our referencing style once the book has gone through the preliminary evaluation by an editor and before the formal review process begins. On favourable preliminary evaluation, authors will be sent a detailed guide on formatting and referencing. Authors will get full editorial support in this process.
Peer Review Process
Peer review is an important component of our evaluation process before publication. After favourable preliminary evaluation by an editor, all books and book proposals are evaluated anonymously by independent external reviewers. We commission two reports on each manuscript considered for publication. If the reviewers’ reports are favourable, they are shared with the author for their response to the reviewers’ comments. The reviewers may recommend minor or major revisions of the manuscript before it can be accepted for publication. It is author’s responsibility to complete all the required revisions diligently and appropriately. The reviewers’ reports and the author’s response along with the revised manuscript are then sent to the editorial committee for their views. Final acceptance of all books for publication is approved by our editorial committee.
You may expect the review to take a minimum of two months. Be advised that we neither guarantee that the review process will complete within two months nor that the reviewers will recommend publication. You are advised that reviewers may sometimes not recommend publication, and also that favourable reviews may at times not be accepted by the editorial committee for publication of a manuscript.
Exclusive Submission
We consider only original research work which is not previously published elsewhere. We undertake the review of a manuscript only if the author confirms it is submitted exclusively to Revival Press Limited for publication and agrees not to send the work to other publishers for review at the same time.
Manuscript Submission Form
Fill out and send the manuscript submission form by email to: a.a.ghouri@outlook.com for review by an editor. All fields in the form are mandatory. If you have the draft manuscript ready for submission, we recommend that you send it along with the form in MS Word file.
Response Time
All submissions will be acknowledged immediately. We will contact you within two weeks of submission with an outcome of preliminary review by an editor. If the decision is favourable, we will send you our author guidelines to prepare the manuscript for peer review.
